Modernizing FlopHero: Establishing a unified design system for a complete product redesign
As the company's first design lead, I established FlopHero's design system from scratch, vibe-coding a library of 25+ fully responsive, white-labelable components. I replaced 1,100+ hard-coded styles with under 100 tokens, shipping an accessible, redesigned mobile and desktop suite.
Keka Kiosk: Designing a contactless, secure attendance system for frontline workers
Designed a multi-platform attendance ecosystem for frontline workers, enabling secure device provisioning, employee onboarding, and facial-recognition sign-ins.

Sundar owned product design for a technically demanding product, a poker training platform whose interface has to make dense statistical output legible under time pressure. He redesigned the desktop tracker statistics page, the hand replayer, the HUD editor and the subscription and onboarding flows, and he took the whole product through a responsive rework. Two things stood out. The first is that he worked in the codebase, not only in Figma. He opened and merged his own pull requests, wrote regression tests for the bugs he found, and shipped his designs himself rather than handing off specifications. The second is that he raised problems before being asked. He diagnosed a backend defect in our stat editor and sent the fix, flagged a branch reconciliation risk before it cost us anything, and produced a working interactive prototype of a redesigned statistics page on his own initiative. He also authored the design principles document our engineers still reference for mobile work. He was straightforward to work with, took direct criticism of his designs without friction, and argued his case when he thought I was wrong, which I valued.
I've seen Sundar evolve from a traditional Figma-centric designer to a much more technical role, writing production-ready code directly using AI tools. This transition dramatically increased the team's velocity; by adopting Cursor, he effectively eliminated the traditional handoff and significantly shortened our cycle times. He is a committed professional who isn't afraid to evolve his way of working to deliver high-quality work at speed.
